This 2.5 acre property centralized in the City of Poulsbo is surrounded by commercial and residential development. The property is divided by Dogfish Creek and has critical area designations. This property provides a green oasis in an area consisting of commercial development with one residential boarder.
The goals of the Centennial Park master plan were:
- Extensive community process
- ADA accessibility
- Educational opportunities for all ages
- Dogfish Habitat restoration plans
- Designed educational poster of site wildlife and ecosystem plant identification. This poster was edited and funded by Kitsap Audubon Society.
