PORTFOLIO - PUBLIC - SHANGHAI AMERICAN SCHOOL

This non-profit school was designed for foreign school children from 34 different countries ranging from pre-school to high school ages.

The focus was specifically centered on an education system that would provide a familiar recreation setting for relocated American school children from major international companies such as: General Motors, Caterpillar, and Boeing.

Fields for baseball and soccer that met standards for international high school field regulations were installed on the site.

To make full use of the limited space available, berms and paths were used to provide definition between the fields and additional play areas.
